Brother MFC-J5340DW 1200 x 4800 dpi A3 Multifunction Colour Inkjet Printer

I bought this to replace a similar multifunction HP printer after it suddenly decided to go to the office in the sky. Brother's build quality seems better and its touch screen menu system is easier to use.

As for printing it's been good. I would say the 'normal' print setting has been below that of the HP while the 'best' setting has been a bit better than the HP with better colours, whereas the HP was over saturated.

The best feature of this machine is that it can print on A3 paper. The reviews seem to suggest that is via manual tray feed only, however, the main tray expands to fit A3. Brother have cleverly turned the A4 page sideways thus making this printer a little wider but not any deeper than a standard printer, whereas most A3 printers are massive.

The only downside for a very small audience is that it has an A4 rather than A3 scanner.

Looks good and does everything I need it to. Easy to install drivers onto my laptop and like the fact the ink is easy to replace at the front rather than inside. Initially I was surprised about it being slightly larger than my printer, however this is because I specifically wanted a machine that had the option to print on A3. The print quality is really good and the scanner is speedy!

It prints well.

I love this printer, it does so much more and easy to setup and easy to use. Excellent product
