The curate's egg (good in parts). - I bought this PC a month ago and have mixed feelings about my choice. It replaced my 2016 Windows 10 HP PC. The new PC boots up and similarly responds far quicker - as one would expect. I use it for emails, shopping, banking, YouTube and very little else, except music via the Windows Media Player. Therefore, I was very disappointed with the Windows 11 version but found out that I could access a Windows 10 Legacy version. I managed to eventually do so and it is the version I am familiar with and wanted. I am no computer expert though and found it difficult to accomplish., I gave up at one point and got as far as visiting my local "The PC Guy" (Tottington, Bury, Lancashire UK), however he was unaware of the two separate apps. I returned home and had another attempt and managed to do it myself. Also, my Windows 10 PS had a plethora of sockets for such as USBs and sdhcs and an internal optical drive, whereas the new one has no optical drive, no sdhc socket and only two USB sockets (one is taken by my mouse). Ripping a CD was very easy with the old PC, with the new one I have to connect an external optical drive and shut down and start up again. Progress? I don't think so!
