Excellent monitor at a very good price

The 27E2N1500L is a pretty solid monitor overall. I purchased two to act as secondary and tertiary monitors to my primary (HP 27xq), with one on its base and one on an adjustable monitor arm.

The colour palette is good to my admittedly untrained eye, and I'm happy with the quality of the backlighting. My primary monitor does not have HDR, so I don't use it for these, and they still look good. The size is also ideal for me - I personally feel 27 inches is about the max you want before you start considering curved monitors or ones for non-PC use (console, TV, etc).

The in-built settings give a decent choice for the expected options you'd want, and setup was quick and simple. I use them for their DisplayPort compatibility, running at 75hz//1440p and have had no issues.

The power supply cords are rather short, however, and the transformer is roughly halfway along the cable, which is a bit inconvenient. I've made it work, but longer wiring without a heavy block halfway up would be better. The base is also not height adjustable, and rather low-down - this is fine for my three-monitor setup where my other are both quite and very adjustable respectively, but I'd imagine would be frustrating for use as a primary monitor. The angle adjustment does help with this, marginally.

Overall, for the price I paid, there are a couple of minor annoyances but nothing that would put me off recommending them for similar use to mine - especially considering the relatively niche area they occupy of 1440p >60hz 30~ inch monitors.
